Welcome to the Ashland area! Drop by the office—we would love to get to know you! You can find our Mass times on the homepage and our business hours on the contact page. To register with any of our cluster parishes, you will need fill out a registration form or stop by the pastoral center office to fill one out in person.

A cluster (in our case) is a group of parishes (individual local churches) that are in the same geographical region and work together, sharing resources, clergy, and administrative staff. We have parishes in Ashland, Odanah, Moquah, Dauby, and Ino, Wisconsin, as well as a school in Ashland. We are part of the Superior Diocese.
Our pastoral center office for the entire cluster is located at 106 N. 2nd Ave E, Ashland (attached to Our Lady of the Lake). -
We are glad you are checking out our school! It is a Catholic school that is open to students of all faiths from 3K (preschool) through 8th grade. You can schedule a tour any time by calling 715-682-7622 and learn more about our school on this page.

Give us a call or send us an email, and a priest or deacon can meet with you to answer your questions!
We would also encourage you to join OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), which provides thorough instruction on the Catholic Faith and a means by which you can join the Church when you are ready.
You are welcome to attend Mass (as long as you refrain from receiving communion), but that isn’t always the best place to start. Unlike many non-Catholic church services, the Mass is not intended as a place for “beginners” to meet people or understand the basics of the faith, but for committed members to participate in a sacrament that involves sacrifice and mission. It can be a little confusing until you get to know more about “why” we have Mass.
You may want to check out some online resources, such as The Catechism of the Catholic Church, which details what Catholics believe. The “Bible in a Year” and “Catechism in a Year” podcasts can help you navigate those texts from a Catholic perspective.
Another resource to get you started would be the FORMED platform, which has videos and other content that you can access for free through our parish. The Search is a good video series to start with on FORMED.

In order to become Catholic, a person has to participate in OCIA (the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults), which provides thorough instruction on the Catholic Faith and a means by which you can join the Church when you are ready.
Our OCIA program begins each fall and participants who wish to become Catholic do so at the Easter Vigil Mass.
